Multi-Sports Complex
The Client
Vishad Mittal, a successful entrepreneur in the construction industry from Dehradun approached us to build a sports complex for his city.
The Brief
Being a Tier 2 city, local aspiring sportspersons are usually forced to travel far (normally to Delhi, in excess of 300kms) in order to train at better facilities and with proper training surfaces. Vishad has a dream to make a one of a kind sports training experience for all people of Dehradun, fuelling the local economy. It gives young athletes an opportunity to train in their hometown, without having to leave home.
Project Description
What started off as an idea and discussion came into reality with us working very closely with Vishad to design & start execution of one of the best private sports complexes in the North of India & the first in a Tier 2 city. Sports that will be a part of this complex: one 7-a-side Football Pitch, 4 Cricket Nets, one Indoor Basketball Court, one Indoor 25m Swimming Pool, 8 Badminton Courts, one Squash Court & a 6000 sq. ft. Fitness centre. The projects finish date of this project is Dec 2021.
The community of Dehradun eagerly anticipate for the centre to open, creating opportunities for aspiring sportspeople, at any socioeconomic level to be able to train. We’re bringing equality to the sports.
